Butter Chicken (Murgh Makhani)

Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, and salt for 30 minutes.
- Heat butter in a pan and cook the marinated chicken until golden brown.
- Add tomato puree and cook for 5-7 minutes until oil separates.
- Add heavy cream and kasuri methi, simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add garam masala and adjust seasoning.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan or rice.
